Motorola RAZR 2 V9 Mobile Phone Review
From Paris Hilton to David Beckham, the Motorola flip phone has been in almost everyones hands, bags and pockets. Now we welcome the newest addistion to the V family, the Motorola RAZR2 V9. The V9 is a great upgrade from its predecessors the V3, V3i, V3x and HSDPA V3xx. It has a sleek outer surface that makes this handset very durable and resilient.
It has stylish looks and some great features and, typically of Motorola, continues to have most of the best technology available. This improvement to the then, cutting edge V3 is fantastic, a new Java operating system allows for bonus applications to be added with ease. On top of the new operating system the direct link to Bigpond Music allows for all your favourite music to be there at the touch of a button and with 3G capability it makes this phone one of the leaders in the market.
One of the downsides to this phone, and to a number of others in the market for that matter, is the camera. I have said so many times in these reviews that it is time the phone company's got serious about the camera's they are putting in their phones. Advertising them as the latest and greatest with all the best features available, well I have reviewed phones with 5 mega pixel camera's, the least they can do is push themselves from a 2MP to a pretty standard 3MP.
A great advantage of this phone is that it isn't just built with great technology but also great strength. With a stainless steel frame it is a great improvement on some of Motorola's other 3G phones in the market, which in general have not been as structurally sound as that of the new RAZR2.
One thing I think that Motorola does better than anyone is a flip phone. Now this is probably because they have always led the market with the flip. However, they seem to have something none of the others have. From having the largest external screen on the market, the easy to use keypad or the technically advanced yet simple interface, Motorola are always "one step ahead of the pack" when it comes to the flip phone ¨C they build their phones not for the tech savvy but for the entire mobile market.
The RAZR2 V9 is a great phone that is very user friendly and simple for all to use. For existing Motorola users it is a no-brainer that this phone would be easy to use, for those who haven't had a Motorola before ¨C relax, this one is easy to pick up. Costing $449RRP, this phone is not cheap, however the features, durability and usability make it worth every dollar, and with all that, this should be a phone that will hang around for years to come.
