Which carriers support mobux content downloads and sales?
Vodafone, Optus, Telstra, Virgin, Boost all allow for mobux content.
3 & AAPT don't currently allow third-party binary content to be delivered to their subscribers.
Can I preview tones and mobile art before buying?
Of course! In fact, we encourage it. All of our content can be previewed before you buy -- simply click on the "Preview" icon next to the item.
What if the preview does not work?
It could take 5-10 seconds for the preview to play. If you select the “get it now” option you can then listen to previews on a better player with buttons, try this. Don’t worry you don’t get charged.
How do I order on the Mobux website?
A) If you have not registered yet:
- Select your item and click "Get It."
- You will then be asked to login to your mobux account – select register account and complete the account registration process
- Once you have an account are are logged in – simply return to the item you wish to purchase and click “Get it”
- Select your purchase method and confirm payment and delivery details
- Mobux will immediately deliver your item as a download link to your mobile phone.
B) If you have already registered:
- LOG IN
- Select your item and click "Get It."
- Select your purchase method and confirm payment and delivery details

Can I purchase for other people on Mobux?
Yes, you may purchase for any mobile phone number, remembering that their phone needs to be compatible for the download. You must be using your own card when purchasing.
How do I get the item (Tones/Art/Games) I ordered from Mobux?
Here's how it works. We send a text message to your mobile phone containing a link and simple instructions on how to download your new item to your phone.
If my download doesn't work, will I be charged?
You will only be charged for items that successfully download to your mobile phone.
If I don't like the item I purchased, can I get a refund?
We are happy to address any technical issues you may have, but Mobux cannot provide refunds if you change your mind.
I have a prepaid mobile service plan. Can I still get content from Mobux?
Some prepaid plans restrict account holders from purchasing from Mobux, so check with your mobile phone service provider.
Is my mobile phone compatible with real tone tones, voice tones and fun tones?
Good question! Most newer mobile phone models are compatible with real, rude and fun Tones. Older phone models can also download Tones, but usually only poly or monophonic Tones. Before we confirm your mobux Tone purchase, we make sure that you can get the tone that you want to groove to. Another option is to look in your phone's User Manual.

I have no credit, can I still download from Mobux?
You need to have credit to access your Internet on your phone, you can just top up on the mobux site to then receive your points and collect your download.
I can’t find content ordered on my phone. Where is it?
Check your mobile phone manufacturer's documentation for instructions on where to find files you've downloaded.
I haven't received my download. What's going on?
Time to get technical. For Vodafone, Telstra, Optus, Virgin make sure that WAP Push is enabled on your mobile phone. Depending on your phone model, it may be necessary to set the WAP Push setting to "On," "Allow All," "Always," or "Receive All." Find your phone model below and follow the directions.

My mobile phone says that the link has arrived, but I can't find it
The download link for your purchase is located in the body of the text message that mobux sent you. Depending on your phone model, this message can sometimes appear in your text or WAP Push inbox. On some phones, this is also known as a "Service Inbox," "Funbox," "Browser Message Inbox" or "Push Inbox."
The item I received is not the one I purchased. What should I do?
Just use the contact us link here – Contact Us – make sure you provide an explanation of what happened. Make sure to tell us the title of the Tone, Mobile Art, or game that you tried to purchase, along with the title of the one you received so we can fix the problem as fast as possible.
How will I know if my mobile is supported?
We'll check for you. After you click "Get It," we ask you for your mobile phone make and model. This lets us know if your mobile phone can receive the item you want to buy. Another way to check is via the "Browse by Phone" option at the top of the mobux homepage.
The content I ordered is low quality. What's the deal?
We hope this never happens, but if it does please send us an email here that includes your mobile phone number, handset model, mobile phone service provider and an explanation of what's going on. We'll figure it out and make sure it doesn't happen again.
How do I find the cool stuff I'm searching for on Mobux?
The easiest way to find an item at mobux is by typing what you are looking for in the search box at the top right of any pages at mobux. You can also check by content (tones, recharge, games or mobile art) category on the top navigation bar. On the left of all the content category pages you can also select any sub-categories.
Is there a way to transfer my existing content onto another mobile?
Although you can't transfer your Tones, Mobile Art and games from your old mobile phone to a new one, the good news is that now you've got the chance to create a whole new personality. How often does that happen? Exactly. You can thank us later.
How much content can I download onto my mobile phone?
Storage capability differs from mobile phone to phone. Consult your phone's User Manual for information on its storage capacity. If your phone is at capacity when you download an item from mobux, you will be notified that your phone is full and you will have to delete an old item to make room for a new one.
How do I delete content from my phone?
Even the coolest Tones and Mobile Art will be so "last year" eventually (like, next year.) You'll want a clean slate so you can be so "this year" (until next year, when you'll be so "last year" again. Whatever.) The point is, every mobile phone is different so your best bet is to refer to your handset's User Manual when deleting content.

Mobile Art is a decorative "Mobile Art" image for your mobile phone screen. You can change your phone's settings so that different Mobile Art corresponds to different callers. Own your phone by personalizing with Mobile Art that makes a statement about you.

A Tone is a tone (music or saying or sound) that plays on your mobile phone when you receive a call. Tones are a fun way to add personality to your mobile phone, and allow you to customize your ring Tones so that you know who's calling. Which is handy when you're expecting a call from your bud, and your boss calls instead. Or your mother.
What is the difference between a Mobile Art and a Screensaver?
A Mobile Art is often called a Mobile Art. It's a static, non-moving image that you can decorate the background of your phone with. A screensaver is an animated image that appears on your phone's screen when the phone goes to 'sleep.' No, not when you go to sleep.
What's the difference between a real tone and a poly tone?
A real tone is an actual brief sampling of a song. A poly tone is a simple synthesizer version of a song. No matter which type of Tone you want for your mobile phone, you can preview and purchase them at Mobux!
